India's Ministry of External Affairs Comments on Trump's Remarks
India's Ministry of External Affairs has responded to Trump's comments regarding Modi's decision to cut ties with Russian oil. The ministry highlighted that protecting the interests of Indian consumers is a priority.
"This includes expanding our energy sources and diversifying according to market conditions. The current U.S. administration has shown interest in deepening energy cooperation with India, and discussions are ongoing," the Ministry of External Affairs stated.
