Iran's Foreign Ministry Strongly Criticizes Trump's Statements
The statements made by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the desire for peace and dialogue with Iran contradict Washington's hostile actions against Tehran, reports the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
"The Foreign Ministry believes that the expression of the U.S. President's desire for peace and dialogue is inconsistent with the hostile and criminal actions undertaken by the U.S. against the Iranian people," the statement published on the Iranian Foreign Ministry's Telegram channel reads.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump, speaking before the Israeli Knesset, stated that the United States and Israel wish to live peacefully with Iran and harbor no animosity towards its people.
