Scholz Accuses Russia
The Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, during a speech in the Bundestag, accused Russia of 'refusing dialogue' concerning a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine. 'Russia does not want peace, but Ukraine does want it—fairly, without subjugation, and without fear of new aggression,' he asserted.
According to RIA Novosti, in comments on social media, German users have accused the Chancellor of denying reality, questioning whether Scholz himself wants peace, and accusing him of inciting the conflict.
