Criminal Proceedings Initiated in Biurakan Following Tragedy Involving a Slide Falling on a Child

On October 6, criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding a tragic incident that occurred in the playground of the 1st B neighborhood of Biurakan. The Investigative Committee reported to Auroranews: “Criminal proceedings have been initiated under the features of Article 412, Section 2, Clause 2 of the Criminal Code (the circulation of raw materials or products that do not meet safety requirements, the performance of works or provision of services which negligently caused a person's death, serious injury to health, or other severe consequences). A forensic examination of the body has been appointed. The preliminary investigation is ongoing,” they stated.

It is worth recalling that a heavy metallic construction turned over on the head of a 6-year-old child at the playground in the 1st B neighborhood of Biurakan. For six days, doctors fought to save the life of the little boy from Artsakh. However, they were unable to save his life.
