New Details: Ministry of Internal Affairs on Spousal Murders in Aramus
On October 12, the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report at the operational management center of the Kotayk region stating that there were the bodies of a man and a woman in the inter-farm area of the administrative territory of Aramus.
According to initial information, the murder was committed by a 61-year-old resident of Aramus. He fired shots at the couple, residents of Aramus village, a 64-year-old man, and a 59-year-old woman, using a hunting rifle registered in his name.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs informed Auroranews, saying, “A 61-year-old man suspected of committing murder has been identified and arrested. The firearm used in the crime has also been found.”
A criminal case has been initiated, and the circumstances are being clarified.
