Turkey Will Reject Russian Gas: Peskov on Trump’s Statement
The spokesperson for the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, commented on the statement made by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding Turkey's potential rejection of Russian gas. He believes that Turkey will continue trading certain goods with Russia, as it is beneficial for them, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“Turkish Stream” is operating at full capacity. “Blue Stream” is also functioning at full capacity. We continue our trade and economic cooperation with the Republic of Turkey. It is a sovereign state that decides for itself in which sectors to cooperate with us. If trading certain goods is advantageous for the Turkish side, then they will continue to do so,” declared the Kremlin spokesperson.
