Aliyev Gained International Positive Image, While Armenia Remained Empty-Handed: Surenyan
The head of the National Security Service of Armenia led a delegation that participated in the "3rd International Security Forum" held in Baku from September 19-21. This was reported by political expert Suren Surenyants.
"For several days, I hesitated to address the issue to avoid causing harm; there was hope that the visit would at least contribute to the release of some of our prisoners of war. However, judging by the timeline, the visit has seemingly concluded, and there are no positive updates. Aliyev received yet another dividend of a positive international image, while Armenia remained empty-handed. This is not diplomacy; it is dangerous submission," he stated.
According to him, any visit by an Armenian official to Baku can only be justified if they return to Yerevan with our prisoners of war. Otherwise, such visits do not protect Armenia's national interests but rather strengthen Azerbaijan's positions. The primary duty of the Armenian authorities is to ensure the return of prisoners, not to contribute to Aliyev's international public relations.
