Araghchin Denies Reports on Negotiations with Witkoff
The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchin has denied reports that he directly discussed Iran's nuclear program with U.S. President's envoy Stephen Witkoff.
On Friday, Iranian media reported that Araghchin presented Witkoff with a draft agreement regarding Iran's nuclear program amidst threats of the restoration of UN sanctions against the Islamic Republic.
The Iranian Foreign Minister added that communications between Tehran and Washington are exchanged directly or, when necessary, through intermediaries, but that direct negotiations between Iran and the U.S. have not yet taken place.
