Catastrophic: Samvel Karapetyan's Message from the NSS Isolation Facility
The preservation of the Armenian traditional family structure and the assurance of its well-being is a key issue that must be addressed. This was emphasized in the latest message from businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan, sent from the NSS isolation facility.
“There is no greater success for the people and the state than to have numerous large families that have all the conditions for a good life, with healthy, educated children who are ready to build a better future for the country. Unfortunately, the number of such families in today's Armenia is extremely low, demographic indicators are catastrophic, and we must do everything possible to overcome this dangerous situation,” stated Samvel Karapetyan.
Addressing young families, the businessman emphasized that they must be healthy and have the means to care for both their reproductive health and their overall well-being without depleting their family budget. The state must and is obliged to ensure this opportunity without any restrictions. The state must also take responsibility to cover the costs for each Armenian child born, which would seriously promote birth rates.
“No citizen of Armenia should ever be deprived of the opportunity to maintain their health due to the lack of money or resources,” wrote Karapetyan.
