Iran's President Warns of Consequences for Hindering Tehran-Yerevan Relations
Official Iranian media have detailed the phone conversation that took place today between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, during which they discussed the outcomes of the Washington talks and the agreements reached.
President Pezeshkian stated, according to the reports, "The Caucasian corridor should not become a pathway for foreign hegemonic purposes."
He added, "The principled and logical approaches have always been and remain the solid and fundamental basis for strengthening the friendly and strategic ties between Tehran and Yerevan, and any attempt or action aimed at undermining these historical and profound relations will be categorically rejected and deemed unacceptable by both countries."
