Negotiating with Europeans Makes No Sense: Iranian Foreign Minister
The negotiations with the countries of the "European Trio" (the United Kingdom, Germany, and France) have lost their meaning as the Europeans are unable to take effective actions to resolve the crisis surrounding Iran's nuclear program. This was stated by the head of the Islamic Republic's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abbas Araghchi, as reported by the Financial Times.
“Negotiating with the Europeans makes no sense now because they cannot lift the sanctions or do anything else. If they attempt to implement a restoration mechanism, it will be the end for them,” said the Iranian Foreign Minister.
Additionally, Abbas Araghchi had stated that Washington must compensate for the damage caused to Iran's nuclear program by the strikes from U.S. armed forces.
