U.S. President Donald Trump is frustrated with how administration officials are responding to the media uproar surrounding financier Jeffrey Epstein's case, which is turning into a political crisis, reports The Washington Post (WP), citing sources.

According to the newspaper, “Trump’s frustration is related to the blunders made by senior officials in recent weeks and the lack of a clear strategy, who underestimated the outrage of the White House leader. This is quite a serious distraction from the president's agenda,” the publication quotes.

“Trump is in no rush to make personnel changes. He does not want to create a larger spectacle by firing anyone,” the source added.

It is worth noting that at the center of this scandal, according to WP, is U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, who informed Trump in the spring that his name had also appeared in Epstein's documents.
