A Russian soldier stationed at the 102nd military base in Armenia has been found dead.
According to Radio Liberty, the body of 25-year-old contract soldier Konstantin Antonenko was discovered on the night of July 24 in the vicinity of a factory dormitory in Gyumri. Armenian media report that the military personnel had injuries on his hands, with no further details currently available.
Furthermore, Armenia's investigative bodies have initiated a criminal case under charges of inciting suicide. A forensic examination of the body has been ordered.
