Strong Earthquake in France
A magnitude 6.6 earthquake was recorded near the islands of Mata-Utu, Wallis, and Futuna, which are part of France's overseas territories. This was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
According to their data, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 175 km southeast of the islands in the Pacific Ocean, at a depth of 314 km.
No reports of casualties or destruction have been received.
