Iran's Position is Decisive: Uranium Enrichment Will Continue, Deputy Foreign Minister

During negotiations with representatives of the "E3" (United Kingdom, France, Germany), the Iranian side reaffirmed its right to continue uranium enrichment exclusively within the territory of the Islamic Republic, stated Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi. This information was reported by the Tasnim News Agency.

"We discussed our rights under the Non-Proliferation Treaty, including uranium enrichment, which must continue only in Iran," said Takht-Ravanchi.

The Deputy Foreign Minister noted that the Iranian negotiating team also addressed the issue of lifting sanctions against Tehran. He indicated that the Iranian side expressed its strong protest to representatives of the three European countries regarding the possibility of reimposing European restrictions.
