The U.S. Will Not Be Able to Ensure Armenia's Security, Ara Abrahamyan
Russia is the strategic partner of Armenia and will remain so; this aligns with the interests of both Armenia and its citizens. This was stated by Ara Abrahamyan, the president of the Union of Armenians in Russia, in an interview with RIA Novosti.
In his opinion, the U.S. and the EU will not be able to ensure Armenia's security. “As for Russia, Russia is our strategic partner and will remain so. This is the right course, as it corresponds to the interests of Armenians and the Armenian state,” Abrahamyan said.
He also noted that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is not acting in the country’s interests. “Nikol Pashinyan should resign from the position of Prime Minister or not participate in the next elections,” Abrahamyan stated.
