Putin on the Consequences of EU's Refusal of Russian Gas
Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that the European Union's refusal to use Russian gas has led to a whole chain of negative consequences for European industries, including glass production.
“All of this will lead to a whole chain of negative consequences,” Putin responded.
It is noteworthy that Vladimir Putin met with the president of the Russian Association of Fertilizer Producers, Andrey Guryev, where they discussed issues including the export of mineral fertilizers. The head of RAGU mentioned Europe’s intention to completely abandon Russian fertilizers in the future.
Commenting on the situation in EU countries, Guryev recalled that “Europe was initially limited to cheap Russian gas, which led to the closure of the gas-chemical complex.”
