US Threats Will Not Change Moscow's Calculations
New shipments of American weapons to Kyiv and President Donald Trump's threats to impose sanctions on Russia for the absence of agreements regarding Ukraine will not change Russia's plans, as Moscow has the advantage on the battlefield. This is reported by The New York Times.
"The increase in assistance to Ukraine is unlikely to significantly alter the balance of power on the battlefield," the article states. According to the newspaper, "Trump's ultimatum" will not change Moscow's calculations.
At the same time, the article notes that after the active phase of military operations concludes, "a window of opportunity for negotiations may emerge."
