Moscow Had No Reason to Refuse: Lavrov on Involvement of North Korean Troops
The participation of North Korean soldiers in the liberation of the Kursk region confirms the brotherly nature of relations between Moscow and Pyongyang. This statement was made by Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a press conference following a meeting with North Korean Foreign Minister Choi Son-hui in Wonsan, as reported by TASS.
"The initiative to involve North Korean troops in combat operations in the Kursk region came from Pyongyang, and Moscow had no reason to refuse it. The Korean friends have reaffirmed their unconditional support for all the objectives of the special military operation and the actions of the Russian leadership and the Russian army," said the Russian Foreign Minister.
