Americans Who Fought in Ukraine Should Be Stripped of U.S. Citizenship

American journalist Tucker Carlson has stated that individuals who have fought in Ukraine should be stripped of their U.S. citizenship, according to TASS.

At a conservative public service conference held by Turning Point USA in Florida, Carlson was asked whether the United States should allow its citizens to hold dual citizenship and whether a person could simultaneously pledge allegiance to two countries.

“Anyone who serves in the armed forces of another country should lose [U.S.] citizenship immediately. Many Americans who have served in the Israeli Defense Forces should lose their citizenship. Many Americans who have served in Ukraine should lose their citizenship. You cannot fight for another country and also remain an American,” Carlson replied.

He added that individuals with dual citizenship should not be allowed to hold power in the United States.
