Residential Building Hit in Kherson Region; Dozens Trapped Under Rubble
The Ukrainian armed forces have struck a five-story residential building in the settlement of Oleshky, Kherson region, leaving dozens of people trapped under the rubble. This was reported by Kherson Governor Volodymyr Saldo.
Two aerial bombs hit the building.
Governor Saldo's press secretary, Volodymyr Vasylenko, further noted that Ukrainian armed forces’ drones are hindering the start of cleanup operations and the evacuation of people from the debris.
Recall that early on the morning of February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a decision to launch a special military operation against Ukraine, stating that the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics had requested assistance. Combat operations have been ongoing ever since.
