Rubio's Statements on Azerbaijan and Armenia Were Important: U.S. State Department
The spokesperson of the U.S. State Department, Tami Bruce, commented on Secretary of State Marco Rubio's statement expressing hope for the prompt signing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The spokesperson indicated that the U.S. is involved in certain issues, according to APA.
"The Secretary's statement was important. We are pleased with the various agreements, the ceasefire, and the changes we are participating in. The Secretary had reasons to say that, and I will provide you with those reasons when we have more details," she emphasized.
Earlier, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that he hopes for the swift signing of a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
