Ministry of Internal Affairs Migration and Citizenship Service Issues Warning
The Ministry of Internal Affairs Migration and Citizenship Service has issued a warning: "Prior to your travels, give priority attention to your travel documents. We urge you to familiarize yourself with the border crossing regulations of the country you are planning to visit. Specifically, check the requirements regarding the validity period of your passport. This varies by destination and sometimes by citizenship.
Many popular tourist destinations have a six-month passport validity rule; your passport must be valid for at least six months counting from the date of your return trip. Countries such as Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, China, India, and several others require this. For instance, if you are planning to vacation from August 21-31, your passport must be valid until at least February 28, 2026.
There are countries that require a three-month validity of the passport from the date of return, such as France, Germany, Italy, etc. These regulations can also change from time to time, so it is essential to constantly check for updated and current regulations.
We remind you that if you discover an issue regarding the validity of your passport at the airport, it cannot be resolved on the spot, as the one-day passport issuance service is provided only on the next working day after applying. In such situations, you will have to cancel or postpone your trip."
