The Historical Fate of Russia and Ukraine is One: Russian Presidential Aide
The historical fate of Russia and Ukraine is one; these countries are a single people. Therefore, the Russian Military Historical Society does not create separate content for Ukrainian children, stated Vladimir Medinskiy, aide to the President of the Russian Federation and head of the Russian Military Historical Society, in an interview with TASS.
“When we create historical content, we do not separate Ukrainian children from Russians and do not produce any specifically 'Ukrainian-oriented' products. We respect, moreover, we know and love the history of the talented and hard-working people on both sides of the Dnieper, Novorossiya, and Crimea's ancient Russian lands. We are one people; we have one historical homeland,” he said.
According to him, Ukrainian schoolchildren and adults will soon be able to freely access the Russian internet. “I really hope that in the near future, both schoolchildren and adults in Ukraine will be able to enjoy the entire diversity of the Russian internet space, and they will not need any special content,” concluded the presidential aide.
