Moscow Expects This from Armenia: Refusal Will Not Benefit the People, Lavrov
Russia is interested in resolving the situation that has arisen as soon as possible. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, according to RIA Novosti.
“The foreign ministers of the CSTO noticed the absence of their Armenian counterpart at the meeting, but Yerevan remains a full member of the organization. Moscow expects clarity from Armenia on all issues, but if it turns away from its allies, it is unlikely to benefit the people,” Lavrov said.
It should be added that Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan did not participate in the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) taking place in Kyrgyzstan.
