Mikael Saroyan on Criminal Case and Possible Arrest
The Primate of Shirak, Archbishop Mikael Ajaphyan, stated that he has no information regarding any criminal proceedings and has not received any notification. In an interview with "Factinfo," Mikael Saroyan mentioned that a criminal case has been initiated against him concerning statements about attempting to initiate a military coup in the country.
Mikael Saroyan noted that he has not yet received any notification. When asked if it is possible that attempts could be made to arrest or isolate him in light of Nikol Pashinyan's targeting of the Armenian Apostolic Church's Patriarch and clergy, Mikael Saroyan did not rule it out, stating that anything is possible.
