Artak Zeynalyan Nominated for Constitutional Court Judge
Artak Zeynalyan has been nominated for the position of judge of the Constitutional Court. On May 27, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a decision stating, “Guided by Article 166, Part 1 of the Constitution, the Government of the Republic of Armenia decides: 1. To nominate the candidacy of Artak Zeynalyan for the position of judge of the Constitutional Court.”
It is noteworthy that the powers of Constitutional Court Judge Vahe Grigoryan have been terminated due to his transfer to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).
Additionally, Zeynalyan is a member of the “Republic” faction in the Yerevan City Council.
