All Flights Halted at Moscow Airports: New Details
Due to a drone attack, four airports in Moscow have been temporarily closed, leading to the cancellation or delay of over 100 flights. Passengers affected by these flight disruptions are facing redirection to other airports and long waits without further information regarding their next steps.
According to local media reports, passengers at Vnukovo Airport have been hit the hardest, with at least 62 flights delayed. Additionally, 16 incoming flights have either been delayed or redirected to other cities. Some of these flights were redirected to Sheremetyevo Airport, which, like Vnukovo, later imposed flight restrictions. Several planes were redirected to Pulkovo Airport in Saint Petersburg.
At Sheremetyevo, hundreds of passengers were seen waiting in long lines, attempting to exchange their tickets for canceled flights.
