The topic of direct communication between Putin and Zelensky was discussed during a conversation with Trump, stated Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, as reported by TASS.
He added that the connections between Russia and Ukraine have been restored and continue. Peskov noted that there are no specific timelines for the preparation of a memorandum regarding the resolution with Ukraine.
According to him, the United States does not renounce its role as a mediator on the Ukraine issue and Washington has provided effective mediation services between Russia and Ukraine.
