Netanyahu Delays Visit to Azerbaijan: Details
The Israeli Prime Minister's office has announced that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Azerbaijan has been postponed.
“In light of the events taking place in the Gaza Strip and Syria, as well as due to a busy schedule of political events and security measures, Netanyahu has decided to postpone his visit to Azerbaijan for another date. The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijani President Aliyev for the invitation and appreciated the warm relations between the two countries,” the statement said.
It is noteworthy that earlier Turkey had announced it would not open its airspace for Netanyahu's aircraft for the latter's visit to Azerbaijan.
