US Imposes Sanctions on Iranian Oil
The United States has imposed sanctions on seven organizations accused of trading in Iranian oil and petrochemical products.
This was announced by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who stated, "The President intends to bring illegal exports of oil and petrochemical products from Iran, including to China, to zero as part of a maximum pressure campaign."
It was also noted that two vessels have been designated as "blocked property." The announcement includes sanctions against a shipping management company, which is accused of playing a key role in the supply chain of energy resources from Iran.
Rubio assured that as long as Tehran continues to generate revenue from oil sales to finance destabilizing and terrorist activities, the United States will not cease taking action against both Iran and its partners who evade sanctions.
