Zelensky Comments on Putin's Announced Ceasefire
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has commented on the ceasefire announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the celebrations for the 80th anniversary of victory.
“Once again, this is an attempt at manipulation. For some reason, everyone is supposed to wait until May 8 and only then halt the fire to ensure silence during the parade for Putin. We value human lives, not parades. The fire must be stopped not for a few days, only to restart again, but immediately, completely, and unconditionally for at least 30 days to guarantee reliability. This could serve as a basis for real diplomacy,” he stated.
