Russia's Foreign Ministry Calls for Restraint Between India and Pakistan
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko and Pakistan's Ambassador to Russia Muhammad Khalid Jamali have discussed the escalation of tensions between India and Pakistan. Moscow has urged the parties to resolve their disagreements peacefully, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on Monday.
“During the meeting, the sides discussed various aspects of Russian-Pakistani cooperation, as well as the escalation of tensions between Islamabad and New Delhi related to the terrorist attack in Kashmir on April 22. The Russian side has called on both parties to show restraint and begin constructive dialogue aimed at the peaceful resolution of disputes,” the statement said.
