I Consider It Realistic to Come to Agreements: Kocharian
If we understand how much opposition there is, gathering everyone together and saying, 'You are all united,' is not going to happen; let's not deceive ourselves regarding a specific goal. Yes, I see that it is possible to come together on specific conditions.
This was stated by the second president, Robert Kocharian.
“It is possible to have some tactical agreements. But everyone is very different. There is an issue of approaches, an issue of perceptions, and an issue of personal relationships here. Going towards a single goal, fixing the rules of the game, I consider it realistic to come to agreements; those who achieve success will then form a coalition and work together. Yes, this is a classic model that works everywhere. If, for example, at some point elections come, yes, to form alliances at that time. But forming a coalition with 15 or 20 units is simply unrealistic; it will not work; let's not deceive ourselves. Good intentions are not always a workable formula,” he said.
