Trump's Patience is Running Out: Levitt
Reports claiming that U.S. President Donald Trump has issued an ultimatum to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to accept a permanent peace proposal "by the end of the day" have been denied. According to White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt, Trump has not set such a deadline.
“Not by the end of today,” she stated.
At the same time, Levitt also mentioned that Trump is becoming increasingly frustrated and that "he needs to see how this all ends." She added that the Ukrainian president is heading in the "wrong direction" regarding peace negotiations and that "Zelensky is trying to contest these peace talks in the press, which is unacceptable for the president."
“His patience is running out,” the White House press secretary added, referring to Trump.
