US Tariffs on China Might Be Reduced, WSJ Reports
The Trump administration is considering the possibility of reducing tariffs on Chinese imports to ease tensions in relations with Beijing. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal, citing informed sources.
According to a senior White House official, tariffs on Chinese goods could be reduced by 50-65%. Earlier, Trump admitted that the 145% tariffs imposed on Chinese products are excessively high and promised to lower them after signing a trade deal with Beijing.
