Intensive Work Underway, Peskov
We are working with our American partners; it is complex and requires a lot of time, so expecting immediate results is difficult. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an interview with the Financial Times.
“Intensive work is underway. We are collaborating with our American partners; it is complex and requires time, so it is difficult to expect immediate results, and the work cannot be done publicly,” he said.
Peskov also commented on reports regarding a conversation between Putin and Witkoff in Saint Petersburg in an interview with RIA Novosti. “Now many fakes are being published, including by respected publications, so we should only listen to the primary sources,” Peskov informed the agency.
It is noteworthy that earlier the publication reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to the U.S. to cease the Ukrainian conflict along the current front lines.
