Russian Defense Ministry Issues Statement on Easter Ceasefire

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have resumed special military operations following the end of the Easter ceasefire declared by President Vladimir Putin, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have recorded 4,900 violations of the ceasefire regime, the ministry reported. The Russian army has strictly adhered to the ceasefire regime and remained at previously occupied lines and positions, asserted the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the ministry's data, during the ceasefire, the Ukrainian Armed Forces made six attempts to attack. During the ceasefire, the Ukrainian Armed Forces utilized 90 aerial drones.

Putin ordered the military to halt all combat operations in the area of the military operation from April 19 at 18:00 Moscow time until today, April 21, at 00:00.
