Over 2300 Freight Trucks Stuck at Upper Lars
More than 2,300 freight trucks have piled up at Upper Lars due to the road being closed. According to the data from the North Ossetia Traffic Organization Center, over 2,300 freight trucks are still waiting to cross the Georgian-Russian border.
Traffic at Upper Lars has been closed to all types of vehicles since this morning due to the threat of avalanches. Currently, 2,310 freight trucks are registered in the electronic queue system.
