Baku Calls for Acceleration of Agreement Signing
Azerbaijan has urged Armenia to expedite the process of signing a peace agreement. This was announced by the Azerbaijani Presidential Special Representative for Special Assignments, Elchin Amirbekov.
According to him, the completion of negotiations regarding the text of the peace agreement opens the way for the normalization of relations and the establishment of diplomatic ties. He added that Armenia should make changes to its constitution, renounce territorial claims, and withdraw foreign forces from border areas.
