I Would Like to Apologize to Armenians: Salome Zurabishvili
After the UEFA Nations League playoff match between Georgia and Armenia, Georgian fans threw objects towards Armenian supporters, causing a stir in both Armenia and Georgia. Former President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili shared her thoughts on the incident.
“For those who are apologizing, you are doing so in the wrong direction and at the wrong place. As a still legitimate president, I would like to apologize to our neighboring people on behalf of our uncivilized citizens for their indecent behavior. We are and will remain good-neighborly states, nations of the ancient Christian faith, and we will live peacefully in a European Caucasus,” wrote Salome Zurabishvili.
