«Tell Me, What Have We Given Up» - Nikol Pashinyan
«Tell me, what have we given up? I have been Prime Minister for seven years, and in my opinion, Armenia is now a much more independent and sovereign state.» This was stated by Pashinyan during a broadcast on Public Television.
«We need to seriously approach the topic of concessions. What have we given up, starting with Artsakh? The entire international community has recognized Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan in documented form. What have we given up in Kiran-Oskepar? I have been Prime Minister for seven years, and in my opinion, Armenia is now a much more independent and sovereign state. Tell me, what have we given up? I am ready to go through it line by line. Yes, we have suffered losses, primarily referring to our martyrs who have irrevocably lost their lives. But we must also understand what those guys died for... I have asked myself this question and have come to that answer — for independence, for sovereignty, to have a state, to have a chance to have a state, for peace. In the times when we did not give up, we had neither peace nor the chance to have peace,» he said.
