Armenia Interested in Indian Defense Technology, Says Mirzoyan
Defense equipment and technology produced in India are of interest to Armenia. Significant reforms are being implemented in Armenia's defense sector, and this is not directed against any third country, stated Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in an interview with Wion.
“Armenia and India have deepened their defense cooperation significantly in recent years, with India becoming the main supplier of military technology to Armenia. Armenia has acquired Pinaka multi-barrel rocket launchers, becoming India's first international customer,” the publication notes.
Mirzoyan also highlighted that Armenia has a peace agenda, with Yerevan focused primarily on establishing stability and peace and addressing relationships with its neighbors.
