Lavrov Accepts Mirzoyan's Invitation
The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will visit Yerevan. He announced this at a press conference held in Moscow with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan.
The minister stated that he intends to take advantage of Mirzoyan's invitation and travel to Yerevan. In response, Mirzoyan remarked, “I will be flattered and will look forward to welcoming you in Yerevan.”
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov also announced that the Chairman of the Federation Council of Russia, Valentina Matviyenko, will visit Armenia, with preparatory work currently underway. The Russian side hopes to coordinate this visit with the schedule for the 10th Russian-Armenian Interregional Forum.
