Bayramov: Unacceptable One-Sided Approach of Those Who Call Themselves Mediators
The Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, has commented on the signing of a strategic partnership document between Armenia and the United States. He stated that he does not wish to comment on the relations between the two countries.
"But in 2024 we witnessed a one-sided approach: we have seen evidence of unilateral support for Armenia, particularly from the US Democratic administration, but also from certain European capitals. Last April, an official meeting took place between the US Secretary of State, the President of the European Commission, and the Prime Minister of Armenia. Their one-sided approach, especially during the intensified phase of the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations normalization process, is unacceptable," he said.
Bayramov also announced that complete agreement has not yet been reached on two articles of the peace treaty, and negotiations are continuing. According to him, the peace treaty process will also continue into 2025.
