US Uncertainty About Ukrainian Forces: The Washington Post
Ukraine may find it difficult to withstand another year of devastating conflict against the backdrop of losses in its armed forces and a shortage of personnel. This is reported by the American newspaper The Washington Post.
"Ukraine is unlikely to be able to endure another year of this destructive war," the publication states. At the same time, according to the paper, there is no hurry to find options for resolving the conflict, as it is crucial for the US to prevent a strengthening of Russia as a result of the Ukrainian crisis.
Previously, reports indicated that the idea of territorial concessions in favor of Russia in exchange for peace is becoming increasingly common in Europe. As noted in the same newspaper, Europeans are shifting towards the idea of negotiating under the formula "land for peace" amid the ongoing military operations in Ukraine.
