19 People Arrested in Israel on Suspicion of Terrorism
Nineteen individuals have been arrested on suspicion of participating in terrorist activities along the western bank of the Jordan River, as reported by TASS, citing the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) press service.
The Israeli military conducted nighttime inspections in coordination with border police and intelligence agencies along the western bank of the Jordan River.
In the village of Mitlon (located on the western bank of the Jordan River), security forces eliminated an armed terrorist and destroyed an explosive laboratory, according to the report.
All detained individuals have been handed over to Israeli security services for further investigation. According to earlier data published by the military press service, since October 7, 2023, when a new phase of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict began, more than 6,000 people have been arrested in the West Bank on suspicion of terrorist activities. Over 2,350 of them are suspected of having ties to the radical Hamas movement, which governs the Gaza Strip.
