Scandal: Works Worth 500,000 Dollars by E. Kochary Have Disappeared from the Museum
Seven artworks by Yervand Kochary, valued at around 500,000 dollars, have disappeared from the Kochary Museum. This announcement was made by the "Kochary" cultural foundation.
"The matter has also been reported to the Government of Armenia, and the case is currently with the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia. There are doubts regarding the authenticity of the artworks, which are state property, as well as potential illegal transactions associated with them. Yervand Kochary's legacy is at risk, and the Armenian state may be confronted with a serious issue," the statement reads.
