Number of Electric Vehicles Imported in One Year
In 2023, Armenia imported 6,347 electric vehicles. This was reported by the State Revenue Committee in response to an inquiry by NEWS.am.
“From January 1 to November 6 of this year, a total of 8,832 electric vehicles were imported, mainly from the USA, UAE, China, Georgia, Hong Kong, and Germany,” they stated.
Regarding the import of solar panels, the State Revenue Committee noted that there is no separate classification for “solar panels” in their records. Nevertheless, they mentioned that in 2023, 364,300 solar panels were imported, while in the first ten months of 2024, 450,900 panels were imported, mainly from China, the USA, UAE, Slovenia, the Netherlands, and Singapore.
