School Principal Sends Incorrect SMS to Father of 10-Year-Old Girl in Coma
MediaHub reports that Nona Andreasian, the principal of Vedi No. 2 Secondary School, made remarkable statements earlier regarding this incident. In particular, she claimed that a psychologist is working with the girl, stating that she sometimes exhibits aggressive behavior but is not registered as a child requiring special education conditions. The girl's father, Levon, refuted the principal’s words, stating, "My daughter is neither aggressive nor has psychological issues; she is simply a lively child, and everyone knows that." Levon also denied the principal's claim of a psychologist working with his daughter.
When asked whether the school had reached out to them during this time, Levon noted, "The principal sent me one SMS saying she did not want to present it that way, that the child has psychological problems, and that she made a wrong statement. They didn’t even call me; the class teacher called a few times before the news spread, and then as soon as it was covered in the media, called a few times and that was it, no more calls. I hold nothing against anyone, but my child is not abandoned... Is it not possible to say something, to understand..." said the father.
Levon mentioned that there are rumors circulating that the girl fell from a window, with some saying, "she was pushed down the stairs," while others claim there was an argument, but his only concern is his daughter's health. After all this, he does not blame anyone: "They should have been by my side at every moment; on the first day they offered to transfer the deposit money. I, of course, refused; I have the means and will do everything for my child, but reveal the rest, tell me what happened, that torments me. I don't blame anyone; I’m waiting for my daughter to recover soon," he emphasized.
The principal also stated that the girl did not leave the class alone: "The teacher usually did not let that child go alone. That day the child was very calm, was normal, and the teacher let her go out. We assume that she might have heard some noise from below, leaned over to see, lost her balance, and fell. At that moment, there were no students upstairs," the principal speculated during an interview, suggesting what might have happened that fateful day in her school. Referring to this statement, Levon mentioned that he would still talk to the principal.
